During 2009 members were able to enjoy various events both social and competitive. Highlights of the year included the summer shows and also the successes enjoyed by Area 3 members at the WES National Show.
In June, the Area 3 show at The Mendip Stud was extremely well supported by more than 100 competitors and supporters!
It was a fabulous summer's day and it was great to see so many old friends, including many members from our neighbouring Areas (Area 6 and Area 13).

In August, competitors travelled from near and far tosupport the WES classes in The Mendip Stud Open Show and SouthWest Championships, which was generously sponsored by the Lerwill Family and also TailGator grooming products. Members did so well that we've dedicated a whole page to the WES National Show. We also decided that there were other significant achievements during the year that merit special mention, so we added a page for that too!
